| Proftech has made an extensive research for the Canton of
St. Gallen on the topic of sourcing from the Far East.
In particular the project did look into sustainable sourcing of building materials such
as cerbstone and alike.
The study covered particular areas of:
children work
sustainable and save production
transportation and grey energy
prices and market mechanism
Extensive field work was being carried out and answers were given to sourcing from
China, India and Vietnam.
The study builds the wider context and base for sourcing of different materials and goods
and is not limited to building materials.
